o/`Myyy Creeepy Guy In Raisin Bran Ad and Nicorette aaaaddd..o/`
Tom Servo of Mystery Science Theater 3000 loved the creepy girl from the movie "Catalina Caper" I love the guy in the aforementioned Raisin Bran Crunch ad (Ed Helms look-a-like #5), and now I find that he was in a nicorette ad also:

Dude, I gotta find this guy.I gotta put a pair of silver rimmed rectangular glasses on him.. I bet this guy has a crappy little website on geocites or something. He probably lives in a studio apartment in LA (with a skylight!) with 50 boxes of Raisin Bran Crunch in his one cupboard because that's all Kellogg's could pay him for. (but he did get to keep the tie and the suspenders though).
Are you out there??

"A Good Sport"

Real Networks is a good sport
Seattle Times technology staff
Seattle-based RealNetworks, which makes software to play audio and video online, took a little ribbing on "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" last week.
A skit featured show regular Ed Helms demonstrating how to download RealNetworks' media player and play music. But Helms didn't get very far. The download took too long, so he used a second computer with the player preloaded.
That computer had buffering delays, so he brought in a third one with a preloaded video clip. That computer froze.
"As you can see, playing media on your computer isn't just easy, it's incredibly time consuming," he said.
RealNetworks took the teasing well. Having its software mentioned, it said, shows the company is a market leader.
------------------------
I was wondering if Real Networks was going to have a reaction to that story since every video clip on comedy central is (*shudder*) real player. I had a "Helms Moment" earlier today when I was trying to watch the old real players from the midterm election shows in which the correspondents are talking about ways to be a hard hitting correspondents and what not, and the darn thing wouldn't load! It froze every two seconds.
